Lastarria Neighborhood

Lastarria Neighborhood

Nearest Turistik bus stop: Stop 8: Santa Lucía

It has its urban development in the mid-nineteenth century, but between 1872 and 1910, with the remodeling works of the Santa Lucia hill, the creation of the Forest Park and the construction of the National Palace of Fine Arts, the neighborhood is consolidated as such, and come to live in him important characters of Chilean history.

The sector was declared a Typical Zone (ZT) in 1997, thanks to this fascinating architecture, as well as the historical monuments that give this value to the environment.

This small urban oasis, camouflaged in the bustling and busy center of Santiago, is an open walk to explore it in depth, where every corner is a story.

Here you will find hotels, museums, restaurants, bars, cultural cinemas, pubs, crafts, goldsmiths and many other things.
